Over the past twelve years, California Active Communities (formerly the California Physical Activity & Health Initiative), has received funding from a variety of sources. Base program funding has been provided through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Preventive Health & Health Services Block Grant. To conduct various projects, California Active Communities has also received funds from the following:
